MARION, Ohio (WCMH) — A large-scale drug trafficking investigation that began over three years ago has led to a decades-long sentence for the man believed to be at the center of the operation.
According to the Marion County prosecutor, in 2022 agents from the MARMET Drug Task Force and the Delaware County Drug Task Force uncovered a drug trafficking operation. The investigation spanned across multiple states and Ohio counties, involving a network of lower-level dealers to distribute significant amounts of narcotics.
Investigators learned that large quantities of narcotics were shipped to Marion from Los Angeles via UPS. Those packages were then reportedly sent to an apartment on New Park Drive in Marion, where they were were remanufactured, repackaged and prepared for distribution across central Ohio…
