Ohio contractor charged with taking money for Corry roof work not done

A summer storm that blew through the Erie region in July 2023 wreaked havoc on some roofs in the Corry area.

Several people whose properties were damaged by the hail sought to have the problems fixed by an Ohio contractor who reportedly promised to do the work and took deposits to purchase materials, according to state investigators.

But agents with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General charge that Kenneth M. Miller never did the work or spent the money he received from four property owners on the materials needed to do it…
