GUERNSEY COUNTY, Ohio — Authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify the owner of a pickup truck involved in a high-speed pursuit Monday on Interstate 70.
According to the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy attempted to stop a maroon Dodge Ram pickup truck March 9 on eastbound I-70 near milepost 182 after the vehicle was seen traveling at a high rate of speed and passing other vehicles using the highway berm.
Officials said the driver failed to stop when the deputy initiated the traffic stop and instead fled, leading to a pursuit.
