‘Sham’ Ohio animal rescue nonprofit sued by attorney general: ‘Doesn’t take a bloodhound’

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKRC) – An Ohio animal rescue nonprofit is being sued by Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost.

According to a press release, a purported animal welfare nonprofit in Ohio is accused of using charitable donations to support a for-profit puppy-selling business, according to a lawsuit filed today by Attorney General Yost.

“It doesn’t take a bloodhound to sniff out this scheme,” Yost said. “When you exploit the generosity of animal lovers to fund a money-making business, you’ve strayed a long way from your charitable mission.”…
