Columbus Man Charged After Alleged Burglary, Theft Spree in Zanesville

ZANESVILLE, Ohio (AVC News) — A Columbus man is facing multiple felony charges after authorities say he carried out a series of thefts and burglaries in central Ohio before being arrested in Zanesville.

According to the Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office, 26-year-old Liban Mohamoud of Columbus has been charged with aggravated burglary, robbery, and 14 counts of felony theft, along with additional charges.

Officials say Mohamoud allegedly burglarized and stole from a fitness center in Newark during the morning hours of March 9 before leaving the area. Newark police were investigating the incident but were unable to locate the suspect at the time…
