An elderly Columbus woman has been identified as the driver killed after her car was hit by a dump truck that lost its tire on Interstate 270.
Reva Greer, 84, died in the March 10 crash, according to a Franklin County Sheriff’s Office crash report. She was on I-270 West just west of U.S. 62 in Jackson Township in her Chevrolet Impala when an eastbound dump truck lost its tire about 10:30 a.m.
The dump truck driver lost control of the truck, veering into a median and crashing through a cable barrier, the sheriff’s office said. Dragging the cable barrier with it, the dump truck crashed into Greer’s car, the report states…
