Homicide outside east Columbus pub house remains unsolved

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Police are still searching for leads in a 2022 homicide that occurred outside of an east Columbus pub house.

On Sept. 8, 2022 at 12:44 a.m., police were called to the 6000 block of East Broad Street, at Donerick’s Pub House, where a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, 25-year-old Allen Wright II, was taken to a hospital in critical condition and died 33 minutes later.

Police said Wright was shot several times, but no witnesses came forward at the crime scene or have since. The pub house, located on the Far East Side, near Blacklick, is now closed permanently. For previous coverage of this story view the video player above.
