COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — An 18-year-old from Venezuela, who federal prosecutors say was in the United States illegally, will not face a trial for allegedly dragging Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents with his car.
Officials said Héctor Velandia-Anaya tried to flee from Enforcement and Removal Operations officers in the 700 block of Schrock Road on November 2, 2025. He was later indicted on charges of assaulting federal officers.
