Unclaimed Mega Millions ticket sold in Ohio worth $60 million

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Ohio Lottery players might want to check their pockets — someone who bought a ticket in the Buckeye State is now a multimillionaire.

A lucky Mega Millions ticket sold in Ohio on St. Patrick’s Day is worth $60 million. The Ohio Lottery announced in a news release that the auto-pick ticket was purchased at Tyler’s Short Stop, inside a Sunoco gas station at 714 E. Main St. in Van Wert.

The winning numbers for the Tuesday, March 17, drawing were 4-11-18-38-50, and the Mega Ball was 24, according to the lottery.

The lottery gives the ticket-holder 180 days to claim the prize, until Sept. 13. If the money remains unclaimed, Ohio will get back its share of the jackpot, which will go into the education fund…
