COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A national online magazine has recognized a Columbus brewery that has been open for less than one year as one of the 10 best in the nation.
PunchDrink, a publication focusing on alcoholic beverages and a partner of Vox Media, on March 19 released a list of the best craft beer breweries in 2026. The magazine selected businesses it believes are “shaping craft beer now.”
Honest Friend Brewing, located at 2112 S. High St. in south Columbus, was featured on the list. The publication said the brewery is known for its diverse selection of low-alcohol-content beers, and stated that “the can to know” at the establishment is the Fleece Wizard Dark Rye Lager.
Founders Chris Carter, Will Cutmann and Kayla Lewis opened Honest Friend Brewing in October in Steelton Village, a mixed-use development housing a variety of businesses, from furniture makers to coffee roasters.
