(WJW) – The National Weather Service confirmed two tornadoes touched down in Ohio on Thursday as strong storms swept across the state.
An EF-1 tornado started in Mount Gilead, along US-42 near Home Road, in Morrow County, damaging trees around 8:41 p.m., the NWS said in a preliminary report on Friday.
The tornado then traveled southeast, crossing Township Road 103 and causing more tree damage before crossing OH-95 near Township Road 110, destroying an outbuilding.

NWS officials said debris from the destroyed building was thrown between 100 to 200 yards before the tornado ended at 8:43 p.m…
