DELAWARE, Ohio (WCMH) — A major road closure that started on Monday morning will impact thousands of central Ohio drivers for months to come.
The Ohio Department of Transportation is working on a slip repair project on State Route 315. ODOT estimates the project will cost $3.3 million and shut down SR-315 between Home Road and Bunty Station Road for 120 days.

“Really, the reason for the closure is that it actually would take longer if we had to maintain traffic to complete this work, so I know that 120 days seems very long, but this could turn a two- or three-season project instead of just one full closure,” ODOT District Six Public Information Officer Hannah Salem said.
