Two Ohio State starters have secret surgeries to address injuries

The Ohio State football program is continuing to go through spring practice. One of the biggest areas of concern that Ryan Day has in the spring is the offensive line. It was the weakest unit last season, and that was the biggest reason why they lost the last two games of the year.

Four starters from up front return this year. Only Tegra Tshabola is gone, and he was the worst lineman they had. Still, Day has made it clear that they are playing guys at multiple positions to find the right combinations. Austin Siereveld is the best returning lineman after playing left tackle last year.

Phillip Daniels is the other tackle who returns. He is in more danger of losing his starting spot. It was Daniels’ first time starting for an entire season after he played occasionally for Minnesota. It turns out that both offensive linemen had secret surgeries recently.
