COLUMBUS, Ohio — A felon who broke into an 87-year-old woman’s house in east Columbus last year and raped her before stealing her car and taking off was sentenced to at least 84 years in prison.
Miguel Rodriguez-Rolon, 29, was found guilty in March on two counts of rape and one count each of kidnapping and aggravated burglary.
According to court documents, on Jan. 14, 2025, the woman fell asleep on her couch and woke up to a stranger wearing all black and a ski mask in her home, standing over her. She told police the suspect proceeded to rape her, steal her car and leave her tied up on the kitchen floor…
