As Buc-ee’s opens its first Ohio location, a second location is already being considered

MANSFIELD, Ohio (WCMH) — Buc-ee’s opened its first Ohio location on Monday, and a second location is already being considered.

Buc-ee’s opened Monday in Huber Heights off of State Route 235 just north of Interstate 70. The Texas-based travel center was originally slated to open in fall 2025 but ran into delays.

Another location could already be on the horizon in Mansfield at the interchange of Interstate 71 and State Route 39.

Mansfield Mayor Jodie Perry announced last month a petition for annexation, which was approved by the Richland County Commissioners. The commissioners said Buc-ee’s would develop about 35 acres of the 110 acres that were annexed from Madison Township and the two acres annexed from Mifflin Township…
