COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — It is a chilly start to the first full week of April with temperatures around freezing in the morning. Columbus’ weather will still see some nights around freezing before warmer weather returns.
A Frost Advisory is in effect for most of Central Ohio until 10 AM Monday. A Freeze Watch is in effect for most of Central Ohio 1 AM to 10 AM Tuesday morning.
Columbus weather today: Cooldown builds
Temperatures to start Monday have been on either side of the freezing line. A Frost Advisory is in effect for most of the area until 10 AM. Later in the day, temperatures are working into the mid 50s, a few degrees below normal. A light wind chill works in for the morning, but temperatures are feeling closer to the thermometer later in the day.
Columbus weather tomorrow: Freeze potential
The overnight cooldown continues to start off Tuesday. More places across Central Ohio dip down below freezing and even into the 20s. At this point, a Freeze Watch is in effect for Tuesday morning for most of the area. Make sure to protect any outdoor plants.
Sunny skies hold tight for the rest of Tuesday. Temperatures are still even cooler for the rest of the day. High temperatures only make it to the mid 40s.
