Woman’s death in southeast Columbus ruled homicide after stabbing, police say

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — What began as a call for a sick person in southeast Columbus has now been ruled a homicide.

Officers were called to Holburn Avenue in Southwest Columbus on March 4 for a report of a sick person. Thomasena Crowder, 63, was taken to a hospital, where investigators later determined she was the victim of an assault.
