It’s a sad consequence of the torrent of false news on social media, cable news, podcasts, and radio talk shows, in contrast to the accurate and balanced news found in traditional broadcast and newspaper journalism, that the Ohio public is in danger of destroying its own school systems, safety systems, and local governments.
The danger is the passage of a statewide referendum called Ax Ohio Tax. Sadly, many voters will fall for it because of the persuasive tone of the campaign, and because it offers something we want to believe — that we can have everything we want and not have to pay for it.
