Ohio mother, grandmother arrested after 9-month-old dies from fentanyl overdose: police

TOLEDO, Ohio (WKRC) – A mother and grandmother were arrested in connection to the death of a 9-month-old girl who was found with lethal doses of fentanyl in her stomach and bloodstream.

According to court records obtained by local outlet WTVG, 33-year-old Taletha Kropp and 20-year-old Leeonna Cherry were arrested following the death of Cherry’s 9-month-old child on February 19.

Police responded to Kropp’s home at around 4:15 p.m. on February 19 regarding the unresponsive child, the documents read. Although the child belonged to Cherry, she was reportedly in the care of Kropp at the time of her death…
