WESTERVILLE, Ohio — As the weather warms up, electric bikes and scooters are becoming more common sights on the streets of central Ohio. However, with their rise in popularity, especially among teens, many suburbs are now grappling with how best to manage these electric vehicles.
In the past year, several municipalities, including Powell and New Albany, have introduced restrictions on where electric bikes and scooters can be used. Now, the city of Westerville is looking to do the same, with plans to enforce its own set of rules.
