COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A man has been arrested in connection with an alleged rape nearly two years ago on the Far West Side.
Police were called to a Columbus hospital on July 2, 2024, after receiving reports of a sexual assault. A woman said she was assaulted in an abandoned apartment in the Laurel Greene neighborhood on June 30.
According to an incident report, the woman and her husband told officers they were both assaulted by Mohamed Mohamed, 38, who reportedly was attempting to retrieve items that had been stolen from him. See the latest headlines from NBC4 in the video player above.
