At approximately 1:33 a.m. on May 31, 2026, California Highway Patrol officers and Riverside firefighters responded to reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision on the eastbound 91 Freeway west of Van Buren Boulevard.
Responding crews located a pedestrian who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
