You’ll never shake a shark’s fin out in the open ocean while offering a kindly and genteel “how do you do?,” but you can visit places on land that explore the realm of the toothy, gill-rocking icons.
One of those places is located just under 20 miles from the ocean, give or take. It’s Discovery Cube Orange County, in Santa Ana, and on the last weekend of July, and the first weekend of August, the educational center will summon shark-tastic fun and learning, all to give kids a closer look at these incredible creatures.
Celebrate Shark Week is the celebration’s name, and there are a few different ways for youngsters fascinated by the awesome ocean critter to make the most of their visit.
