A magnitude 3.2 earthquake near Compton rattled multiple counties in Southern California overnight Sunday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The agency said the quake hit about 2.5 miles south-southeast of Compton just before 12:15 a.m. Its depth was recorded as nearly 8 miles.
