Riverside Police Arrest Three Following Narcotics Investigation at Riverside Inn and Suites

RIVERSIDE, CA — Officers with the Riverside Police Department arrested three men on narcotics and weapons charges during an early morning surveillance operation at a local motel on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026.

At approximately 2:53 a.m., officers conducted surveillance at the Riverside Inn and Suites, located at 10705 Magnolia Ave., following reports of illegal narcotics activity. After observing high activity near a specific room, officers approached 33-year-old Riverside resident Chad Davis as he walked back to the area.

According to police, Davis discarded a bag upon noticing officers. Investigators recovered approximately 3.5 ounces of fentanyl and one ounce of methamphetamine from the bag. A subsequent search yielded two firearms, additional narcotics, and items associated with drug sales…
