Two brothers were arrested after a traffic stop involving an SUV outfitted to resemble a police vehicle led officers to discover multiple firearms and thousands of rounds of ammunition at a Southern California home, authorities announced Wednesday.
Riverside police said officers pulled over an all-black Ford Explorer near Magnolia Avenue and McKinley Street around 2 a.m. Sept. 16 for vehicle code violations. The SUV was equipped with emergency lights and sirens similar to those used on marked police vehicles.
The driver was identified as Bryan Rodriguez Villarreal, 29, of Corona, according to the Riverside Police Department.
