A 4-year-old child was struck and killed while they were in a Southern California roadway.
On Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 2:37 p.m. local time, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Pleasant View Avenue in Corona following a report of a traffic collision, the Corona Police Department said in a news release shared on social media.
During a preliminary investigation, officials learned that a vehicle was traveling east on the avenue when it hit a child who was in the roadway. At the time, the child’s relatives were close by as they attended to a vehicle parked on the street…
