THERMAL, Calif. (KESQ)— A viewer-submitted video appears to show several law enforcement agents Thursday morning near Grapefruit Boulevard and Church Street, in an incident authorities say was connected to immigration enforcement.
The video, submitted to our newsroom, shows several law enforcement agents near multiple men, including one person who appears to be on the ground. The agents have since been identified as personnel working with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
According to Sheriff’s, deputies were notified of a disturbance shortly before noon in the area of Grapefruit Boulevard and Church Street in Thermal. Deputies were later told the activity was connected to immigration enforcement in the area…
