Riverside City Council Moves to Back $11.25 Billion Housing Bond on November Ballot

Riverside’s City Council is considering a resolution to formally support Proposition 1, the Veterans and Affordable Housing Bond Act of 2026—an $11.25 billion state bond measure that could direct significant housing dollars to the region if California voters approve it.

The resolution is scheduled for a City Council vote at an upcoming meeting. The bond appears on the November 3 statewide ballot.
