LA QUINTA, Calif. (KESQ) – A Riverside County Sheriff’s deputy is in the hospital after being struck by a passing vehicle during a traffic stop in La Quinta Friday night.
The crash was reported just before 8:10 p.m. on Jefferson Street and Fiesta Drive, just north of Highway 111.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the deputy is in stable condition. There was no word on the severity of the deputy’s injuries…
