RIVERSIDE (CNS) – A 24-year-old Riverside woman suspected of fleeing from sheriff’s deputies with her two children in the car, racing across freeways through downtown Riverside and briefly barricading herself in her vehicle, was being held Wednesday in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Adriana Sandoval was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Jail Tuesday on suspicion of felony evading, child endangerment, assault with a deadly weapon, reckless driving and obstruction of a peace officer.
Sandoval’s boyfriend, 24-year-old Jonathan Roldan of Riverside, was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving and obstruction of a peace officer, after he allegedly tried to aid Sandoval in a separate vehicle. Roldan posted a $5,000 bond and was released from the Robert Presley Jail Wednesday morning.
According to Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Sheree Anthony, shortly after noon Tuesday, patrol deputies were called to a business in the 23000 block of Sunnymead Boulevard, near Frederick Street, in Moreno Valley to investigate reports of a suspect, Sandoval, in the parking lot of a business, refusing to leave the location despite being asked to go.
