Rancho Cucamonga Woman Threatened and Shot at After Meeting Online Acquaintance

RANCHO CUCAMONGA- In response to a call for service on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at around 09:32 A.M., Rancho Cucamonga deputies swiftly attended to a reported shooting incident at a private residence.

Upon conducting a thorough investigation, law enforcement discovered that the female victim had arranged a meeting with a male individual she had encountered online. The purpose of their meeting was to collaborate on the victim’s online business. However, upon the suspect’s arrival at the victim’s residence, a decision was made by the victim to discontinue the interaction. Subsequently, the suspect, evidently displeased with this outcome, departed from the premises and issued threats towards the victim.

Within moments of the suspect’s departure, a loud noise resonated through the air, prompting the victim to investigate. It was revealed that a weapon had been discharged into her residence, resulting in a bullet hole located in her refrigerator.

Deputies later identified the suspect’s vehicle, described as a black 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Sedan.
