The Orange County District Attorney’s Office said on Friday that an Anaheim man had been accused of kidnapping four women, holding them at gunpoint, and sexually abusing three of them on different dates in Orange and Los Angeles counties.
According to court documents, Sione Vea, 46, has entered a not-guilty plea to more than a dozen felony counts, including forceful sexual penetration, kidnapping with the intent to conduct a sexual assault, and forced oral copulation.
The sexual attacks allegedly started on October 28, 2018, according to the prosecution, when Vea contacted a Compton lady about having sex. Prosecutors claim that when Vea drove a short distance away, he took out a revolver and raped the lady sexually. Prosecutors claim that after going to Long Beach, Vea took the victim out of his car and sexually assaulted her.
Prosecutors claim that on August 18, 2021, almost three years later, Vea convinced a lady in Los Angeles to enter his car, at which time she discovered he was carrying a pistol. The lady allegedly managed to flee after Vea choked her “with the intent to sexually assault her and rob her,” according to the prosecution.
