Two killed in horrifying three car California crash; One car launched into raging flood channel

Tragedy struck on Monday night as deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a major-injury traffic collision at the intersection of Kitching Street and Cactus Avenue in Riverside County at 10:35 p.m. The collision involved three vehicles – a black Lexus, a grey Dodge Ram, and a white Dodge Ram – leaving one individual with significant injuries and two others evaluated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the black Lexus, who sustained severe injuries, tragically succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Meanwhile, the occupants of the white Dodge Ram, the driver, and passenger, were medically evaluated for injuries deemed non-life-threatening.

The impact of the collision caused the grey Dodge Ram to veer into a nearby flood channel. Swift action by good Samaritans led to the rescue of the passenger from the submerged vehicle. Emergency services, including CalFire and the Swift Water Rescue Team, initiated a search for the missing driver.
