Near freezing temperatures overnight could ice over many California communities

The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for the San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys, including The Inland Empire, and portions of San Diego County Inland Valleys, effective from 11 PM this evening to 8 AM PST Monday.

The coldest areas are anticipated to be in the corridor between Perris and Temecula in the Inland Empire, and near the San Pasqual Valley and Ramona in San Diego County.

Temperatures are expected to range from 30 to 36 degrees in wind-sheltered locations, leading to the formation of frost.

Sensitive outdoor vegetation may be at risk if left uncovered, as frost could have damaging effects.

Residents are advised to take precautionary measures to protect tender plants from the cold, and the advisory highlights slightly warmer conditions anticipated on Tuesday morning.

Stay informed and prepare for the chilly weather during this advisory period.
