Beloved Character Actor Dies at age 90

There is sad news out of the world of Hollywood after it was announced that longtime character actor Bill Cobbs, best known for appearances in hit movies such as Whitney Houston’s “The Bodyguard,” and the Ben Stiller comedy “Night at the Museum,” has died at the age of 90.

Famed actor Bill Cobbs, who spent the better part of four decades appearing in various movies and television shows, has reportedly died at the age of 90 years old, according to his publicist, speaking to The Hollywood Reporter.

His death was also confirmed on Facebook by his brother, Thomas Cobbs.

Cobbs passed away last month peacefully while at his home in Riverside, California, publicist Chuck Jones said.

Well-versed in both comedy and drama, Cobbs’ most notable roles included playing Whitney Houston’s manager in the hit movie “The Bodyguard,” as well as the Coen Brothers’ “The Hudsucker Proxy,” and as a retiring janitor in the comedy “Night at the Museum,” a role he reprised for the film’s sequel, released in 2016.
