On Thursday and Friday this week, thousands of surfers across Southern California finally got a taste of tropical swell, as Emilia and Fabio sent good to occasionally epic surf to select hurricane hotspots up and down the coast. Newport Beach was the standout, while the Lexus US Open of Surfing in nearby HB also saw fine surf as did normal summer standouts like Lowers and Malibu.
