An alleged assault that culminated in an attempted murder charge has seen 24-year-old Gabriel Ray Hernandez of Highland taken into custody, following an incident that reportedly began with an online encounter and ended in a violent attack in the Temescal Valley region. According to information obtained from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, the deputies were called to the scene on August 4, 2024, after the female victim, who had suffered serious injuries, was found in the 27000 block of Barcelona Drive; this led to her immediate transportation to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
