A Riverside man and woman were arrested on suspicion of sex crimes after a group of young girls was allegedly sexually assaulted at sleepovers, according to authorities.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office , the investigation began in September when authorities learned about three young girls who were molested and photographed during sleepovers at a friends’ house over a period of three years.
Investigations revealed the primary suspect to be 45-year-old Riverside man Christopher Gary Tilden. Katrina Frances Tilden, 43, was also identified as a suspect who knew about the incidents and failed to notify law enforcement.
Authorities executed a search warrant on Thursday morning in the in the 12000 block of Orangemont Lane, in the unincorporated area of Riverside known as Lake Hills, as well as Christopher’s workplace. Investigators seized evidence in the form of electronics.
Christopher was arrested on suspicion of multiple charges of lewd acts with a minor, sexual abuse of a minor, dissuading a witness and child endangerment. Katrina was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment, accessory and dissuading a witness.
