Lake Cahuilla Veterans Regional Park will host its annual Veterans Day Weekend Catfish Derby this weekend, officials said Wednesday. The event begins at 4 p.m. Saturday, with adults’ and children’s prizes awarded for the heaviest catches among the over 4,000 pounds of catfish being stocked into the lake, according to Riverside County officials.
