Early this morning at approximately 5:30 a.m., Newport Beach Police Department and Fire Department crews responded to a vehicle in the water at Corona del Mar Main Beach. NBPD officers arrived first and successfully rescued an individual from the water, despite the challenging conditions caused by waves rolling the vehicle in the surf. Their quick actions ensured the safety of the patient, who was later transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and treatment.
