4 juveniles allegedly crash electric motorcycles into sedan in Temecula

Further investigation was pending Tuesday after four juveniles allegedly crashed a pair of electric motorcycles into a sedan in Temecula.

Deputies received a report of a traffic collision involving the aforementioned vehicles shortly before 7 p.m. Monday in the area of La Serena Way and Camina Corto, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Three of the juveniles were taken in an ambulance to a hospital for “minor to moderate” injuries, officials said.

The identity of the parties involved were not publicly released, and the cause of the collision was not clear.

Neither motorcycle had the required DOT-certified safety equipment, according to the sheriff’s department.
