Southern California Man Arrested for Using Social Media to Target Robbery Victims

Authorities in Riverside County have arrested a 20-year-old Moreno Valley resident, Adrian Henning, for allegedly using social media to target individuals for armed robbery. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department (RCSD), Henning orchestrated multiple robberies on January 12, 2025, by luring victims through a popular social media sales app.

The first reported incident occurred around 5 p.m. in Perris, California, on the 1200 block of Mount Shasta Street. Henning reportedly agreed to meet a victim for a property exchange. However, when the two met, Henning brandished a firearm, stole the victim’s property, and fled the scene before deputies arrived.

Later that day, Henning allegedly employed similar tactics in Mead Valley, an unincorporated area, where he attempted another armed robbery before fleeing…
