SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Minimal rain activity has reached the region but more widespread shower coverage is expected for late Thursday into Friday as a weakening atmospheric river moves in off the coast.
Patchy drizzle to brief light rain has been reported in many areas in San Diego County with 12-hour totals between trace amounts to just a few hundredths an inch of rain.
Early Friday morning, between midnight and 10 a.m., an uptick of light scattered showers can be expected with North County favored to get a touch more precipitation. Showers should taper off from the northwest to the southeast but there will be periods of some light rain activity to round out the work week…
