2 patients extricated, 4 hospitalized in Southern California crash

Crews rescued two trapped people from their SUV after a crash in Ventura on Saturday.

The Ventura City Fire Department said crews responded to multiple calls reporting a crash on Loma Vista Road and North Victoria Avenue around 1:45 p.m.

Details on what caused the crash are limited, but VCFD said that it ultimately trapped both occupants of a pickup truck and both occupants of an SUV.
