Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Arrests Juveniles Suspected of Multiple Armed Robberies in Perris and San Jacinto

Authorities have apprehended a group of juvenile suspects linked to a series of armed robberies and one grand theft in the cities of Perris and San Jacinto, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reports. The crimes, which spanned from February 3 to February 25, 2025, targeted individuals selling items through e-commerce platforms. These meetings, arranged as sales transactions on Rider Street and other local venues, turned criminal when suspects allegedly robbed sellers at gunpoint.

The first incident occurred on February 3, around 8:20 p.m., where a victim was robbed after presenting an item for sale. Despite an initial search, deputies were unable to locate the suspects at the time. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, a series of similar incidents continued over the next few weeks, culminating in a February 25 robbery during which shots were fired by one of the suspects. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported.

In a collaborative effort, the Riverside County Gang Task Force Regions 6 and 7, along with the Perris Sheriff’s Station Investigation Bureau and the Perris Special Enforcement Team, carried out investigations that led to identifying the suspects.
