Emergency center discovers dog swallowed 24 socks and more

CORONA, Calif. (WKRC/CBS Newspath) – An animal emergency center in Corona, California, has shared the remarkable story of Luna, a 7-month-old Bernese dog who underwent life-saving surgery after ingesting a staggering number of objects.

The Corona Animal Emergency Center reported that Luna had swallowed dozens of items, including 24 socks, hair ties and pieces of clothing.

The center’s team performed abdominal exploratory surgery on Luna on February 16. “Against all odds, Luna pulled through and is now wagging her tail again!” the emergency center said…
