MALIBU, CA – Edwin Castro, the winner of the record-breaking $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot, was recently seen shopping for luxury cars in Los Angeles after his Malibu mansion was destroyed in last month’s deadly Palisades fire.
Castro, 32, appeared in good spirits while browsing vintage Porsches at Sport Trend Auto Sales, wearing casual attire—sandals, a t-shirt, and sweatpants—according to photos shared by The U.S. Sun. His $3.8 million mansion, one of several properties he owns, was reduced to rubble by the massive blaze, per The New York Post.
Since his historic lottery win, Castro has purchased multiple properties, including a third Los Angeles mansion in November and a $4 million Japanese-style home for his parents.
