Riverside Police Arrest Transitional Housing Manager for Drug and Firearm Violations

“A home in the 4600 block of Bandini Avenue, near Kendall Street, is being used as a transitional housing facility for individuals on parole. Our officers from the Community Engagement Division have made several arrests related to drug possession and under the influence of illegal substances coming from this residence. As you can imagine, this has significantly impacted the quality of life within this part of the Wood Streets neighborhood.

Through their enforcement efforts, officers also gathered evidence suggesting the house manager may have been supplying illegal narcotics and firearms. Acting on this information, officers, along with the Vice Unit and the Post-Release Accountability & Compliance Team (PACT), served a search warrant at the residence on February 18th.

During the search, approximately half an ounce of suspected methamphetamine was found in the house manager’s vehicle. Further investigation led officers to a storage unit linked to the suspect, where they discovered body armor, firearm parts, ammunition, illegal firearms (as defined by California law), and additional illegal drugs including suspected cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, and fentanyl…
