SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Millions of Californians struggling to put food on the table may soon be facing cuts to their safety net food assistance dollars.
A Congressional budget outline proposes a cut the House Agricultural Committee budget by $230 billion through 2034, according to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.
